Work Chic: Jumpsuit to work anyone?

Hey everyone!. I know I've been slacking, blame it on work. I promise to do better. I decided to do another work post as that's all I do these days anyway.

Salewa bought this jumpsuit for me a while ago (she actually bought it for herself, and I convinced her to buy it for me too :)). I'm usually a hoarder, I can keep some of my clothes that I feel I like more than the others, till I find somewhere to 'rock' it to (which hardly ever happens and they rot in my wardrobe), but I'm starting to change.

I had been thinking of where to wear this jumpsuit, and then I remembered that my friend Ifeanyi stopped by to say hi while I was in law school and she was wearing a jumpsuit to her holiday job. So I decided to give it a shot 

Here's how I wore it.

I just popped this blazer on and voila...
Jumpsuit&Bag- Zara, Blazer- H&M

I kept getting 'oh you wore a jumpsuit to work', 'how are you going to pee?', some disapproving looks and others I couldn't really make out. lol

All in all, I think I pulled it off.

    I love it! I think the cut of the jumpsuit is what made it wearable to work, it's nice and tailored.

    I have worn a black jumpsuit to work a few times. I think paired with a blazer (I always pair with a blazer) it does work quite well.

    as for wearing a jumpsuit to work, even I'm not sure, especially when you live Nigeria where people are a lot more conservative about work gear. i just say do you and if you are comfortable wearing it then why not

    You definitely rocked it. The blazer and small belt are what make the look more professional. I have to say that I disagree with those that liked the length of the suit though.. Don't get offended and take this as constructive criticism, please. I obviously don't know how tall you are but I believe that this jumpsuit would appear more flattering on you if it were shorter allowing you to show your feet. It would definitely still look professional and chic. I would get it cut somewhere in the middle of the knees and feet and wear it with medium sized black pumps.

    The color looks amazing with your skin tone and I am also loving the accessories! :)
