Arts & Crafts Village Abuja

I was in Abuja two weekends ago and visited the Arts & Crafts Village with my friends Minz and Nyims... We saw so many beautiful original stuff, its so amazing how these are all handmade from scratch... I especially loved (and bought) a crocodile skin bag and was told that the men responsible for making these bags actually buy the crocodile skin from traders in Benin republic, dry the skin then make the bags, awesome! Best part is that I got it after much bargaining for 6,000 Naira (£25/$40), I don't think you would find something this original for the same price in high end stores.

Bags...
Snake skin clutches, Crocodile skin messenger bag, Rafia bag

Leather back packs&bags

The print on these briefcases appear to be a local Hausa fabric, but it reminds me so much of the Navajo print

Jewelry
Neck & Arm candy

 Art Work
Love the giraffe

Nyims

Minz in awe of my new purchase :o)

And that's all folks, Byeeeee
