Lace + Velvet

Outfit made by Daisy's Wardrobe, Bag-Aldo
I wore this for my fiance's granny's 80th Birthday on Saturday along with my new sisters... Velvet is slowly becoming an "aso-ebi" favorite in Nigeria, and although I opted for a mermaid style skirt, it is popularly tied as a wrapper over a lace top/blouse (that's what everyone else did, lol). We also later ditched the "aso-oke geles" that we tied for the church service for turbans... I think it is such a pretty ensemble and I totally love it, I look forward to rocking this skirt in the very near future ;o)
