Magic Cube

Top and Skirt - Rukky Simone, Sandals - Zara & Bag - Michael Kors

Hi guysss, hope your week's going great, I know I've gone on and on about how much I love Rukky Simone and even posted about the brand HERE... So on my birthday my colleagues at work bought me some Rukky Simone goodies including my outfit in this post (thanks guys)... I am now truly a certified Rukky Simone girl :o)... I'm wearing a matching shirt and flared skirt from Rukky Simone and the print reminds me of the magic/rubik cube, who remembers those? A couple of weeks back, I went away to Istanbul and bonded with my camera again. What's better than a bright and pretty outfit on a cold  spring day?

Blue Gingham

Hey guys, how's your week going. The weekend is fast approaching and I can't WAIT!! lol

I'm sure I've mentioned my love for bargains several times on the blog, so when I spotted this Maju gingham jumpsuit at the L'espace Store for N3,900 (or 3700, can't remember the exact figure) I snatched it up FAST!. They also had different variations and colours of the jumpsuit.

As I can't be smiling in all my pictures, I did this specially for you guys.lool

Lady Biba - Charmaine Wrap Top

It has been a while since i did a Work Chic post and this top really deserved one.

I wore this to work today and from the moment I walked into the office, I was getting compliments from everyone, I'm serious. At a point, I was trying not to make eye contact, because I started feeling shy. loool. Just trying to explain the effect this top has on people.

The first time I saw it, I had no doubts that it belonged in my wardrobe. None!.I sharply sent an email to Lady Biba and two days after it was mine. I had been saving it for months and making excuses not to wear it yet, like "I dont have the right hairstyle for it" (Does anyone else do that?), till I decided to wear it today.

A sunny Abu Dhabi morning

Happy New Yearrrrrrr... I wish you all a beautiful year ahead, go kick ass this year like me guys ;o) ... I had an amazing holiday, my christmas lunch was everything I hoped and much more, time with family is always the best time :o) ... I also got to spend my new year in Abu-Dhabi and Dubai with family and it was all kinds of awesome.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is one of the many wonders of the UAE and the tourist in me definitely wanted to see everything, I mean why bother travelling if you can't get snaps of these places right??? Weird as I've found the religious motif trend made popular by Dolce & Gabbana in 2013, I think its kind of cool... Considering that I am trying to remain "cool" for as long as I possibly can,  I did not hesitate to snap up this dress at DOS clothing store in Ikoyi. DOS clothing store has got some great pieces and you should definitely check them out, their instagram account is dosclothingstore

Cheers to the weekend guys.

Vamp

Hey everyone, Happy New Year once again!!. Remember my quest to find the perfect full skirt and how I finally found this one. Well, it wasn't as easy as it sounded. It took several emails and more than 3 weeks before the skirt was finally delivered. I had literally given up on ever getting it, when at the last minute my brother sent me a message saying he had received a package for me. Anyway, to cut the long story short, instead of waiting for maybe eternity, I decided to take matters into my own hands and make one since my mind was dead set on wearing one for the wedding.

This skirt was made by a lovely up and coming designer, Tiara by Tutu  (we can call her TBT right..lool). I kept pestering her throughout as she was my only hope, or so I thought. Sadly, I ended up wearing the red skirt because it was Christmas time and my second eye (aka Salewa) said it was more ''wedding appropriate''.

I've been itching to wear it since I got it, so I paired it with this sheer blouse and dark lipstick and voila! I was ready to be cast in Vampire Diaries (maybe as Bonnie's replacement)..lol.

Don't worry Caro is somewhere down there :)

Sunday Best: 'Spaghetti'

Dress- Daisy's Wardrobe, Shoes- Steve Madden, Bag- Vintage

Hey guys, I took my Daisy's Wardrobe dress for a spin today and everybody kept asking where I got it, I love when that happens :o) ... So I'm sure you are wondering why the 'Spaghetti' title, apparently this ankara print is popularly known as 'Spaghetti' in the markets, so if you ever need this print of ankara just tell them at the market that you want some 'Spaghetti' lol... Hope everyone had a good weekend, I feel like it was just friday yesterday :o( oh well cheers to a wonderful new week guys.
