Sunday Best - Pinstripes & Oxblood

Hey everyone, how are you all doing? I can't believe that 2014 is literally over, time really flies. This year has been a good year for me, my family and friends and I thank God for his mercies and faithfulness. I'm looking forward to an even better 2015, Amen.

I'm on a blogging roll, can you tell? lol. I hope the lazy bug doesn't bite me soon.

I wore this on the last Sunday of the year. Truthfully, this outfit favours Work Chic, but we all know there's a thin line between what can wear to church and work.

Blouse - Mango. Get it here
Trousers - Thrift Store
Shoes - Zara
Bag - Pierre Cardin

Have a great day guys.

Segi

Sunday Best - Rukky Simone Wrap Dress

Hi guysss, remember our post on Rukky Simone? So this is one of the items I got from the collection and I absolutely love it. This dress is giving me some DVF vibes from the chic print to the fact that it is a wrap dress. The only difference is that I got it for about N8, 000 ($48) and anyone who knows how much a DVF wrap dress costs will appreciate this price tag... I rocked my dress with my ever faithful Ferragamo pumps, four years and these shoes still look good, definitely money well spent :o) ... How's everyone doing? Hopefully your weekend was great, have an awesome week guys.

Sunday Best

Its already the start of a new week and you know no Sunday is complete without a Sunday Best post. I bought this houndstooth dress and shoes separately a while ago and since then I've been thinking of pairing them together. I decided to wear them together to church today :). I think it turned out nice. What do you guys think?

Sunday Best

Happy Sunday guys, its been a while but Sunday Best is backkkk :o) ...I went to church with Shally today and we got to do some cooking and catching up, it really is kind of weird that we don't live under the same roof anymore, lol. So here's what we wore today...

Sunday Best: Black and Blue

Top - H&M, Skirt - Zara, Shoes - Steve Madden
My peopleeeee, its been so long and I've missed blogging so much but I'm sure you guys will agree that Segi has been doing a great job. I've been and may still be unavoidably absent but I hope you guys can bare with me a little longer. My wedding is a month away and so every spare time I have apart from my busy work schedule goes to "wedding stuff" and more.

I hope everyone's had a great weekend so far... There was a red carpet for all mothers (women) in Church today and only women were allowed to walk on it, it was pretty cool.

We wish all the wonderful, super mothers a Happy Mother's Day, may God keep blessing you for your labour of love, and for those of us whose mothers have moved to Heaven, your Legacies live on, we celebrate you today and always. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY.

xoxo

Belated Sunday Best

I was in Abuja over the weekend, and it was such a blast. Every time i go there, it almost feels like I'm in a different country, am i the only one that feels that way?.  If ever you need a break from the hustle and bustle of Lagos, try Abuja. It has a lot of nice hang out spots, the people there are abit nicer and less in a hurry than Lagosians and the best is their portions at restaurants are HUGE. For example, i had this yesterday evening and i promise, this was one meal. BTW someone should direct the FCT Minister to this post, who knows i may just be the next youth ambassador(or whatever) for Abuja. loool.

Earlier on in the day, my friends and i went for Abuja's version of Le Petit Marche. I didn't take any pictures, neither did i buy anything, well apart from a chocolate muffin for the Cupcake Cutie stand, which is one of the go-to cake shops in Abuja(I better get paid for these plugs). Lagos is definitely the fashion capital of Nigeria, if not Africa. Abuja people, please step up your game. lol.
The highlight of my day was definitely the Super Eagles reminding the rest of Africa and the world what we as Nigerians are made of. God knows we needed something to lift our spirits in this country and we thank God for victory. *Sidebar- while i was watching the match i was trying to remember what citizens of Burkina Faso are called, but i couldn't because i have never known it.lol. My aunt later told me that they are called Burkinabe. Just felt like educating you guys. You are welcome :)

Top, Sandals- Primark, Skirt- Asos, Bag- Zara

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Sunday Best

Hey guys!!. You know what Sundays are, dress up day!!. I was going to wear this to church but i ended up not going. Forgive me Lord.
I got this dress in January and i hadn't gotten the chance to wear it yet, so i decided to give it a spin anyway.
Don't you just love these shoes?. My darling friend, Jen got them for me for my birthday, aren't i lucky?

In other news, i recently decided to grow out my hair as it's really thin and I don't want to be forty with a bald head. I (well, my mum) cut my hair like three times when i was younger and i have no plans to ever ever try it again. For almost three weeks now, i have done my best to resist doing a weave and between salon trips and buying hair products, I've nearly wrecked myself financially.

Hopefully I'll stick to my new routine and stay away from heat (thats my biggest problem for now).
Please if anyone has any helpful tips or has any experience with this, I'm all ears and eyes.
