Work Chic - When in doubt wear plaid

Dress - ASOS, Shoes - Zara, Bag & Blazer - Mango
(Shout out to our readers in Nigeria, you can get a similar dress HERE )

Its ridiculous how I've od'd on plaid just ridiculous, I just really love plaid/tartan prints... Maybe its the little scottie in me... Its funny that I miss Edinburgh because I really hated my earlier part of living there but somehow grew to love it... Looking back at that time all I can do is thank God for growth, God is awesome and puts us in certain places/positions for reasons that always work out for our good, the best we can do is to trust Him, He has the best plans :o) ... How is everyone doing? Hopefully your week has started out great, enjoy the rest of your week guys.

Lady Biba - Charmaine Wrap Top

It has been a while since i did a Work Chic post and this top really deserved one.

I wore this to work today and from the moment I walked into the office, I was getting compliments from everyone, I'm serious. At a point, I was trying not to make eye contact, because I started feeling shy. loool. Just trying to explain the effect this top has on people.

The first time I saw it, I had no doubts that it belonged in my wardrobe. None!.I sharply sent an email to Lady Biba and two days after it was mine. I had been saving it for months and making excuses not to wear it yet, like "I dont have the right hairstyle for it" (Does anyone else do that?), till I decided to wear it today.

Work Chic - Check Jumpsuit

Blazer & Shirt - Mango, Jumpsuit -ASOS, Necklace - Primark

Hi guys, hope your week is going well, November is here and this only means one thing... My favourite time of the year (Christmas) is almost here, YAYY.

I rocked this check jumpsuit to work with a blazer the other day and loved the total look... Its almost unthinkable to wear a jumpsuit to work here in Nigeria but it really is doable... The trick is to find the perfect jumpsuit for work, it has to look "smart" , throw on a blazer and voila. I took my blazer off later in the evening for one of the LFDW shows. How do you like it?

See how Segi rocked a jumpsuit to work HERE

Work Chic : Black and White Checkers

Top - Zara (old), Skirt - (ASOS),  Shoes - Bottega Venetta

Hey Guys, its friday (yayyyyyy).... At work we are sometimes given a little freedom to wear whatever we like on fridays, so today I decided to have a bit of fun with it... Lately I've felt like my work/job has taken over my life and I never really find the time to do the other things I love to do and its been crazy. I'm working on finding a balance with everything, suggestions from you guys are very welcome :o)

My checkered skirt is very on trend, just check out street style pictures from NYFW and you'll see what I'm talking about. I particularly love the texture of the skirt, it is jacquard (one of my favs). I've said that the combination of white, black and red is so cliche but they will always and forever look great together, lol. Have an awesome weekend guys.

I wore this to work yesterday...

I really like this dress. In fact I liked it so much I bought it in two colours, the other one's the blue one I wore in this post--- Sunday Best
